James O’Keefe, has issued a response following comments made by John Bryan on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where Bryan distanced himself from statements he made in a recently released OMG undercover video.
Last week OMG published hidden-camera footage in which John Bryan, an American businessman and former advisor to Prince Andrew, claimed that the Duke of York had misled him about the nature of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged involvement with underage girls.
“I did a big thing in The Daily Mail saying that I believed Andrew,” Bryan said in the footage. “And then I found out he was lying. I was so pissed.” When asked to clarify, Bryan responded: “That he [Andrew] was f***ing underage girls.”
Bryan, who advised Prince Andrew during the fallout from his infamous 2019 BBC interview, said at the time he was asked to help manage public relations. He developed a five-page strategy, referred to as the “House of Kroy,” to guide Andrew through the crisis while publicly expressing support for Epstein’s victims.
However, during his appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Bryan said his earlier remarks to OMG’s undercover journalist were inaccurate. “I just was not speaking the truth,” he told Morgan. “And I have to admit it, and I regret it very much, what I said. None of it reflects what I actually believe.”
He acknowledged the effectiveness of OMG’s investigation, calling the undercover journalist “spectacular” and noting, “If I was a producer or director, I’d be hiring her for any acting role.”
Reacting to the interview, O’Keefe praised the work of his team and emphasized the importance of independent journalism, stating, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for citizen journalism,” he said.
As of publication, neither Bryan nor Buckingham Palace has released an official statement to OMG regarding the video or the subsequent interview.
