BREAKING: O’Keefe Media Group has obtained U.S. Army CUI documents revealing the growing presence of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua (TdA) in the U.S., involved in human trafficking, drug, and weapons smuggling.
The documents state that TdA “has established a presence in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Williamsburg, NY,” with around 400 members in these areas.
Additionally, they warn that TdA members in Denver “have been given a ‘green light’ to fire on or attack law enforcement.” The group’s use of advanced technology increases the danger, and “coordinated efforts” are crucial to counter these threats.
The leaked documents from the U.S. Army North Division reveal alarming details about the Tren de Aragua’s expanding influence. According to the documents, the TdA “has established a presence in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Williamsburg, NY,” with “approximately 400 TdA members” living in these areas. The group’s illicit activities, including human trafficking, drug, and weapons smuggling, pose a serious threat to public safety.
The danger isn’t confined to New York. The CUI document warns that Tren de Aragua members in Denver “have been given a ‘green light’ to fire on or attack law enforcement,” with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in New York receiving similar reports.
In recent weeks, violent incidents involving TdA members have been reported, including an attack on a Colorado apartment complex in late August.
The documents outline how the Tren de Aragua is “using advanced technology and surveillance,” increasing the danger to U.S. military personnel and law enforcement. The CUI stresses that “coordinated efforts between local, state, federal law enforcement, and the military are crucial” to address this growing threat.
With National Guardsmen recently seen in New York City subway stations, the heightened security measures reflect the gravity of the situation.
The proximity of this criminal organization’s activity to critical infrastructure, such as West Point, a United States Military Academy,
raises further alarm. The document states, “West Point is appx. 57 miles from those locations,” and emphasizes the necessity of safeguarding military installations and protecting personnel from potential attacks.
CUI, or Controlled Unclassified Information, refers to sensitive data that is not classified but still requires safeguarding. The leaked document specifies that this information is “an anti-terrorism/force protection and law enforcement action officers tool and should be used for situational awareness only,” and “may not be released to the media.”
O’Keefe Media Group has reached out to the U.S. Army for a statement, which we will share as the story develops.
