My team & I visited Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s D.C. Office to Ask Why Her Team Wants Me Prosecuted & Her Staff Hits the Security Button, Locks the Door and Calls The Police Earlier this week I went directly to Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s D.C. office to ask why her team wanted an investigation into our Alaska reporting.
Instead of answering my questions, the staff told me to leave, hit the security button, locked the door, and said they were calling the police. Eventually, Joe Plesha, Press Secretary For Senator Lisa Murkowski came out and spoke with me. He confirmed there was a call for an investigation and initially said he believed I had identified myself as Brian Murkowski.
I corrected him: I never identified myself as Brian, signed his name, or cast a ballot. Our original reporting confirms states O’Keefe did not check in as Brian or cast a ballot. We went directly to Murkowski’s office for answers.
