Fox News Media has terminated Jason Hermes, now the former Vice President of Content Sales and Partnerships at Fox Weather, after an undercover video surfaced showing him boasting about misusing corporate funds for personal strip club visits and falsifying Fox expense reports.
According to the hidden-camera footage released by OMG, Hermes claimed his high-revenue role made him virtually untouchable. While discussing company spending practices, he allegedly described how easy it was to charge thousands of dollars at strip clubs to the corporate card and have the expenses approved without scrutiny.
Hermes reportedly said one could “walk into a strip club… and spend $4,000” on the company card, then simply tell management “that’s what the client wanted.” Hermes admitted that in practice, he and others would “just do it ourselves and lie on the expense reports,” claiming that because he oversaw roughly $90 million in annual business, “no one’s gonna f***ing say a word to me.”
The remarks stand in sharp contrast to Fox Corporation’s official Standards of Business Conduct, which emphasize honesty and accuracy in all financial reporting.

Hermes joined Fox Weather in September 2024 after previously serving as Vice President of Content Marketing Sales at The Weather Channel.
OMG contacted Hermes for comment prior to his termination. He responded “No, thank you” and “Okay, bye” before abruptly hanging up. Fox News Media had not responded to requests for comment at the time of the initial report.
