CONFRONTED: Robert P. Silvers, former Department of Homeland Security Under Secretary for Policy, HAS LEFT His Position at the DHS

Robert P. Silvers, the former Under Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has resigned following a confrontation in Washington, D.C. with James O’Keefe. The resignation comes after O’Keefe Media Group released undercover footage that has raised questions about Silvers’ remarks and his political views.

The footage, captured by a hidden camera, reveals Silvers describing President Trump’s 2024 victory as a “traumatic” and “crushing blow” to the Biden Administration.

The video also includes Silvers discussing President Biden’s mental decline, adding that it had “accelerated… 12 to 24” months into his presidency.

When O’Keefe confronted Silvers about the footage, Silvers attempted to deflect, stating, “I don’t really want to talk about it.”

The exchange escalated as O’Keefe pressed him further, asking, “Why not be honest with the American people about the things you told our reporter?” The confrontation ended with Silvers hastily retreating, while O’Keefe was escorted off the premises by security.
