The Chinese Communist Party has officially responded in Beijing, China to our O’Keefe Media undercover report.
During a press conference, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun (pronounced “Gwoah Jackin”) said:
“It is U.S. domestic affairs — we have no comment. That said, we oppose drawing lines along ideological differences and maliciously vilifying China.”
This marks a historic accomplishment for O’Keefe Media Group and citizen journalism — a foreign government publicly responding to one of our undercover reports.
Our exposé on the Foreign Service Officer made headlines across major outlets.
AP News broke the story first, reporting:
“The State Department said Wednesday that it has fired a U.S. diplomat over a romantic relationship he admitted having with a Chinese woman alleged to have ties to the Chinese Communist Party. The statement did not identify the diplomat, but he and his girlfriend had been featured in a surreptitiously filmed video posted online by conservative firebrand James O’Keefe.”
The New York Post, Fox News, and ABC News quickly followed the report.
Fox News reported:
“Fox News learned the fired diplomat was featured in a video by James O’Keefe. While the diplomat was not officially identified, Fox News learned that he was featured in a video by Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe. O’Keefe was ousted from Project Veritas in 2023 and now runs similar hidden camera operations through the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG). In the video, the person believed to be the diplomat in question tells an undercover journalist with OMG that he ‘defied my government for love.’ He also said in the video that ‘she could have been a spy’ and that her father was ‘straight up Communist Party.’”
