OMG Exclusive with James O'Keefe featuring Grant Cardone

James O’Keefe sits down with renowned entrepreneur Grant Cardone as he shares his journey, motivations, and strategies for managing multiple businesses and over a thousand employees. They delve into the challenges and profitability of journalism, and Grant offers exclusive advice on thriving in citizen journalism despite corrupt influences.

“The more clearly I can define the target, the destination, the subject I want to accomplish, the better,” describes entrepreneur Grant Cardone of his success.

Successful businessman Grant Cardone explains what it means to have targets.

Cardone gives James O’Keefe advice on how to make money in the midst of corrupting influences.

Born to Italian immigrants, Grant Cardone witnessed his mother’s struggle with poverty following his father’s death when he was just 10 years old. During his teenage years, he fell into a decade-long addiction to drugs, which lasted from age 15 to 25. After seeking treatment, Cardone turned his life around by working tirelessly and helping others. He avoided environments and people that might tempt him back into his old habits. Inspired by the poverty he saw as a child, Cardone was driven to achieve wealth.

Cardone emphasizes, “Any and all goals to me are targets,” underscoring his belief that success stems from a relentless pursuit of objectives. He further elaborates, “The more clearly I can define the target, the better,” emphasizing the importance of precision in goal-setting. When queried by O’Keefe about maintaining integrity in a landscape rife with advertising influences, Cardone advises, “You need to separate the target from the story and raising money.” He amplifies this notion with an example: “So if you want 25 grand, you should ask for a quarter million.” Cardone urges O’Keefe to contemplate, “Who would I go to, what would I say, and what would I give them?”

Cardone argues that Americans are conditioned to embrace fear. He recounts an incident where he dismissed a nanny for cautioning his children during playtime, underscoring his commitment to instilling confidence in his family. Asserting, “We are not financially illiterate. We are financially indoctrinated to save money,” Cardone challenges conventional wisdom regarding financial management. He rejects the common advice of saving, home ownership, and traditional retirement accounts, which he believes serve the interests of banks. Instead, he advocates for investing in tangible assets such as businesses, real estate, or personal development as a more lucrative path to financial prosperity.

Cardone firmly asserts the compatibility of journalism and financial success. When questioned by O’Keefe about achieving profitability for a media company, Cardone reveals his unconventional approach. He declares that he has never accepted advertising money nor engaged in business dealings with advertisers or banks. Instead, Cardone relies on crowdsourcing and provides insight into how revenue is generated for his conferences: by delivering exceptional value to attendees. He emphasizes the importance of understanding the target audience for each of his ventures, demonstrating his meticulous approach to business strategy.

O’Keefe reinforces to Cardone that whistleblowers who courageously expose corruption to OMG are not driven by financial incentives but by a sense of heroism, viewing their actions as “the highest form of love or sacrifice.”

That is why it is even more important for us to support these brave whistleblowers and their stories.
